Board President & Treasurer

Rick Reese serves as President and Treasurer of the Board of Directors for R.A.Y.S. Unlimited. In this dual leadership role, Rick provides strategic oversight, fiscal stewardship, and governance guidance to support the organization’s long-term sustainability.

Rick brings a strong commitment to accountability, transparency, and responsible leadership. As Treasurer, he helps ensure sound financial practices, while his role as Board President supports effective board operations and mission alignment. Rick has been in recovery for 13 years and is active in the recovery community. He works as a driver-operator for DD Gravel and is dedicated to strengthening recovery housing and community-based solutions that promote stability, dignity, and long-term change.

Darren M. Lind, LADC

Executive Director & Co-Founder

Darren Lind is the Executive Director and one of the Co-Founders of R.A.Y.S. Unlimited. With more than two decades of experience in the addiction recovery field as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and over 24 years of personal sobriety, Darren leads the organization with a focus on structure, accountability, and compassion.

Darren Lind is the Executive Director and one of the Co-Founders of R.A.Y.S. Unlimited. With more than two decades of experience in the addiction recovery field as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and over 24 years of personal sobriety, Darren leads the organization with a focus on structure, accountability, and compassion.

Darren helped found R.A.Y.S. Unlimited to providing safe, stable recovery housing rooted in clear expectations and human dignity. His leadership emphasizes “structure without cruelty and accountability without shame,” ensuring residents receive both support and responsibility as they rebuild their lives. Darren oversees program development, policy compliance, partnerships, and organizational growth.

Morgan Woodbury

Board Secretary

Morgan Woodbury serves as Secretary of the Board for R.A.Y.S. Unlimited, supporting accurate documentation, organizational continuity, and strong board governance. In this role, Morgan helps maintain official records, meeting minutes, and compliance documentation essential to responsible nonprofit operations.

Morgan brings a detail-oriented and organized approach to board service that strengthens the organization’s commitment to accountability, structure, and long-term success.

Jennifer Moran

Board Member

Jennifer Moran is a member of the Board of Directors for R.A.Y.S. Unlimited and serves as the manager of Legacy Thrift in Worthington, Minnesota. Through her leadership at Legacy Thrift, Jennifer works closely with individuals seeking employment readiness, stability, and successful reintegration into the community.

Bernie has been in recovery for more than 16 years and brings lived experience and steady leadership to the board.

Bernie has been in recovery for more than 16 years and brings lived experience and steady leadership to the board.

Bernie works as a cement crew foreman for K/M Construction in Edgerton, Minnesota. He contributes to board deliberations and organizational oversight, helping guide decisions that strengthen program integrity and community impact. His service reflects a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorders through practical leadership and community-based solutions.
